About TEK2KAREER
Practical technology education. Built on continuous improvement.
TEK2KAREER helps learners develop practical skills in software quality and automation, artificial intelligence applications, and product management. Through instructor-led training, guided practice, and feedback, students learn how to approach technical work with clarity, discipline, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
We are living in a time where technology is transforming almost every industry around us. Artificial intelligence, automation, connected systems, cybersecurity, data analytics, and software-defined vehicles are no longer technologies of the future—they are shaping the jobs and careers of today.
Here in Metro Detroit, we have a front-row seat to that transformation!
For generations, Detroit built its reputation through automotive innovation. Today, that innovation continues—but now it’s driven not only by mechanical engineering, but by software, data, connectivity, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies. The careers being created today often look very different from those of even ten years ago.
A clearer starting point
The challenge many people face is not a lack of ability or motivation. It’s understanding where the opportunities are, what skills employers are looking for, and how to take that first step toward a new career path.
Our goal is to help individuals gain practical, industry-relevant skills and provide a clearer pathway into today’s evolving workforce. We believe that with the right guidance, training, and support, career growth is possible regardless of where you’re starting from.
Our mission
Connect education to professional practice.
To make applied technology education clear, rigorous, and accessible by connecting instructor-led learning with the tools, workflows, and judgment used in professional practice. We help students build skills through guided work, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement.
Our vision
Build a community of adaptable learners.
A learning community where people from varied backgrounds can build technical capability with confidence, understand the standards of their chosen field, and continue adapting as technology and work evolve.

Our foundation
Three principles guide the school.
State authorized
TEK2KAREER is a Michigan-authorized proprietary postsecondary school. Its approved programs have defined curricula and institutional documentation. Review the current catalog and enrollment terms for the details that apply to your program.
Industry aligned
Our educational approach draws on professional experience across automotive technology, software quality, systems engineering, product management, automation, and connected products. Theory is paired with guided practical work aligned to program objectives.
Kaizen driven
Continuous improvement shapes how students practice, examine results, respond to feedback, and develop. We review industry developments while maintaining the academic oversight and requirements of our approved programs.
Our automotive technology focus
Learn in a demanding technology environment. Build skills that travel.
Technology in practice
Modern vehicles are becoming some of the most sophisticated technology platforms in the world. They combine software, cloud services, AI, cybersecurity, embedded systems, mobile applications, connectivity, and data analytics.
Skills across sectors
Our philosophy is simple: learning to work within the demands of automotive technology can help students adapt those skills across other technology sectors. We pair theoretical and practical training with professional workflows and employer expectations.
About TEK2KAREER / Leadership
Leadership built on real-world execution.
Our leadership brings decades of combined experience across automotive and software-defined vehicles, telematics, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment, systems engineering, product management, software quality, automation, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise technology.
That experience spans the technology lifecycle—from concept, strategy, and architecture through development, validation, launch, over-the-air updates, production support, and continuous improvement.
Chair, founders & executives
Industry leadership. Proven execution. One shared purpose.
Our leadership brings more than a decade of industry expertise across every phase of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), including leadership of complex, multimillion-dollar projects and management of internal teams, external partners, and suppliers.
Industry experience
Our chair, founders, and executives bring complementary industry perspectives to one shared purpose: connecting practical education with the way technology teams work. Combined experience in application engineering, global design release, technical team leadership, and cross-functional execution shapes TEK2KAREER’s approach to training.
Delivery leadership
Across automotive, supplier, enterprise software, and emerging technology environments, our team brings experience moving ideas from strategy, requirements, architecture, and development through test planning, verification, validation, defect resolution, release, launch, and ongoing support. That experience includes coordinating cross-functional teams, technical priorities, budgets, schedules, and delivery across the full product lifecycle.

How we deliver Kaizen training
Practice with purpose. Improve with evidence.
Instructor-led lessons establish the concepts. Guided projects let students apply them, document decisions, receive feedback, and refine their work under academic oversight.
Instructor guidance
Planned lessons and academic oversight support the approved curriculum. Mentors supplement, rather than replace, primary instructors.
Project-based practice
Students apply concepts in curriculum-aligned scenarios and document what they learn.
Career preparation
Advisory support may include resume, portfolio, interview, and professional communication guidance. Employment outcomes are not guaranteed.
